Episode #40

April 18, 2022

Can Faith and Science Be Friends?: In this episode, we hear from Catholic priest, apologist, and former President of Gonzaga University Fr. Robert Spitzer, S.J. We learn about his own intellectual journey to find reasons to support the faith of his childhood, how God’s grace guided that quest, how the Lord led him to the priesthood and the Jesuits, and about his passion to share solid scientific and philosophical evidence for the teachings of the Catholic Faith. Fr. Spitzer does this through his numerous books, online resources, and the Magis Center. We also discuss the false conceptions that underlie the popular idea that faith and science are at odds.
