Advent Series 2022, Pt. 1: The word “Advent” means “coming” or “arrival.” While we tend to focus on the coming of the Son of God as a child at Christmas, Advent is traditionally a penitential season that is supposed to make us ready to meet the Lord at His second coming. This Advent series by Dr. David Hajduk, Array of Hope’s Director of Theology, reflects on the Final Advent of the Lord – the Last Judgment. This first part explores questions like “Why is there a general judgment at the end of time if there is a particular judgment at the moment of death?” and “What will be the signs that Jesus’ second coming is near?”
