Episode #46

May 30, 2022

Why Study Theology?: In this episode, we discuss how learning more about the Bible and Catholic teaching can inspire our faith, and how we can effectively communicate the Cathlic Faith to those who may not have a firm religious foundation. Our conversation is with Dr. Andrew Swafford, Professor of Theology at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, popular speaker and author, and general editor and contributor to The Great Adventure Catholic Bible, upon which Fr. Mike Schmitz’s The Bible in a Year podcast is based on. Finally, in this episode we investigate what theology actually is, as well as the “prerequisites” of its study.
